Another day with amazing weather! Warm and calm, we really enjoyed being out in the fjord today.
We saw one seal in our harbor while boarding Konsúll. Again, we found one Humpback Whale northeast of Hrísey! While sailing out, we enjoyed the views of the landscape around Ejyafjörður and eventually spotted this Humpback. What a beautiful tour!
We got to watch this whale resurface plenty of times, even close to us! With our engines were turned off whenever possible, we could clearly hear the breath of the Humpback and during the close encounters we had, we spotted the white pectoral fins underwater, telling us where the Humpback was swimming. It was super beautiful to see this Humpback again, as it is the same individual, which we have spotted on our tours in the fjord recently.
