It was a rainy but calm day today with good sailing conditions.
As we sailed out, we spotted several pods of Harbor Porpoises between Gáseyri and Hjalteyri and stopped to look at some of them more closely. They resurfaced numerous times, sometimes even close to us!
Apart form this good Harbor Porpoise encounter, we unfortunately did not spot any more cetaceans today and all of our passengers received complimentary tickets, which they can use to join us again within the next two years in Akureyri or Reykjavík!
