The beginning of the day was rather windy, but to balance it out, we had the sun in our back while making our way through the fjord. Later the wind calmed down a bit, beautiful views all around us. Very picturesque day missing just one thing to be a perfect one - a whale. Although we have tried our best and scouted the fjord thoroughly past the end of the Hrísey Island, we did not manage to spot a single cetacean today. But that is just how it sometimes goes with wildlife. The disappointment is indeed on point here, yet we are staying hopeful and we believe tomorrow will bring us more luck than today.
