Beautiful day in the Fjord today! Again we had perfect conditions, the sea was calm and winter landscape is just stunning here. It took us quite a trip to found cetaceans today, we went all the way to Hauganes and spot lots of bird life on the way but our first whale we’ve found on our way back to Akureyri, a bit further out than industrial part of the harbour. It was a Humpback whale and a whale we know pretty well - Iskona! Whale was keeping the distance from us today and was heading towards north but we were lucky to see him surfacing several times and we hope to find him again tomorrow!
