What a day to finish off our whale filled weekend! This morning it was overcast but the fjord was completely flat, just like a mirror which was super beautiful to see. On this tour we saw lots of harbour porpoises and not one but four minke whales throughout the tour. However, these whales were being a bit tricky to watch but luckily we found their larger cousin on the way back the wonderful humpback whale, who gave us some fantastic surfaces before we had to head back. On our classic adventure, the clouds has cleared away and the sun was shining brightly. Two minke whales were spotted first and we were able to watch these lovely animals surface multiple times before heading out a bit further and finding not one but three, if not four humpback whales. Which were happily gorging themselves on fish and were coming up to the surface with their mouths spilling over with water and food. Today´s tour was ended in Árskógssandur and a bus awaited our passengers to make our return journey a bit faster, as were were having far to much fun with the whales and the tour had run on a bit too long.
