A wild and windy day with a lot of time sailing the fjord today as the whales were really far away, however, we did find them and they were wonderful. On the express tour we found two beautiful humpback whales north of Hrisey and they surfaced just wonderfully all the way around the boat. The classic tour was just as beautiful with some cute little harbour porpoises and later on during the tour we saw some great big splashes which turned out to be a jumping humpback whale and its two friends who were feeding in the same area and gave us some wonderful views of their beautiful black bodies and lovely tail flukes.
