Eventful day out on the fjord today, this morning tour found a humpback whale, which went for a very long dive, on heading out we found some more lovely humpback whales surfacing in the same area. Including “Aretha Frankfin”. Our afternoon tour found lots of harbour porpoises and two wonderful humpback whales that were surfacing just wonderfully south of Hjalteyri. One of which was “Cosmos” our fjord favorite. Unfortunately, we had to cut our afternoon tour a bit short as one of our passengers had a medical emergency and was having some problem with his heart and therefore, we had to return to harbour to get him to hospital. On the way back from harbour a minke whale even popped up, so was a nice end to the day.
