Good afternoon! The weather conditions continued to be very good today with calm sea and little wind today.
We sailed out to spot the whales in Eyjafjörður and again were able to spot plenty of Humpback Whales between the green buoy and Hjalteyri! They were resurfacing many times all around us, near and far and we had beautiful encounters with them!
In total, we spotted at least 10 to 15 Humpback Whales on each of our tours today! At times we really didn’t know which direction to look, because there were so many of them surfacing all around our boats at the same time. We counted up to 9 whales at the surface close to us at the same time! Just incredible. Some of them were again swimming in small groups of up to four Humpbacks at the same time, resurfacing and diving at the same time!
