Halló there! Well, it really is official: Summer has arrived! On this beautiful sunny morning, we sailed out on Hólmosol, smooth and steadily across the shiny, calm waters of the fjord. Mada was nervously shaking as she set out to do her first safety speech on board, but Ania was there next to her with smiling eyes and it ended up being not so dreadful as she expected. Then suddenly, Siggi - our head engineer - spotted something from the bridge. It was a minke whale! The passengers and the crew rejoiced as it kept popping up around the boat, sometimes surprisingly close! As they sailed away, they soon found themselves surrounded by porpoises from every side. What a sighting! Even these famously elusive animals were feeling the hype of the warm sun and mirror-like waters. Oh happy day!
