Happy first day of summer! What a beautiful day in the fjord! Today we couldn’t dream of better sailing conditions and a great start of summer season in Iceland. We sailed out under a clear sky and full sunny day. We sailed on 2 tours - Classic whale watching and Express whale watching and in the afternoon the wind has picked up a little. We came across plenty of birdlife - Northern Gannets, Fulmars, Guillemots and Long tail ducks were keeping us company along the way the whole day, but we didn’t spot any whales. It was a perfect day to see harbour porpoises and one even jumped out of the water! We saw plenty of them and it was a highlight of the day. We gave out complimentary tickets to everyone.
