Good afternoon! Today we sailed out from Akureyri on two tours, we saw two different Humpback whales and plenty of birdlife in Eyjafjörður! It was a bit windy and snowing in the morning. So we dressed up properly for the cold weather and were able to enjoy all the beautiful encounters with the wildlife of our fjord. For a short moment on our morning tour, our boat got the company of a curious baby Grey seal. In the afternoon, we saw many birds such as swarms of Long-tailed ducks. We got to watch the same two Humpback whales surfacing just by Hjalteyri on both tours as well as one Minke whale.
We had a wonderful day today and enjoyed our tours a lot!
