Whale whale whale…. Today we started from Akureyri harbour like always with a sunny yet a bit choppy day. today we had to sail all the way out to Hrísey island, but it looked like after all the new month brough us new species as well because just under a massive flock of screeching Arctic terns we also found a small pod of around 4 White-beaked dolphins!!! And with them we were also able to enjoy the sight of our friend Shalom, the Humpback whale, who was also feeding under the birds. And that was not all, because when we started heading back we were luck enough to spot a Harbour seal just calmly surfacing next to some shallow rocks in the SE side of Hrísey island. So it ended up being a long, but mor than nice trip!
