Much like many of our guests the whales are feeling the call of the north. We went seeking whalish behaviors up the fjord little did we know this was to be the furthest venture this season. Going beyond Hrolfssker brought with it stunning vistas of the Tröllaskagi penisula. With one aim in sight Arnar and Siggi fired up the thrusters and from amongst misty mountains a singular humpback appeared. Photo Id soon confirmed this to be Shalom putting on his usual feeding display. Shalom was spotted by our classic tour at 13.00 and both express tours at 10.00 and 14.00. Despite taking the effort of pushing beyond our normal whale watching zone and taking in beautiful views of harbour porpoise, seabirds and Fjord, Shalom was sadly missed by our 9.00 am classic tour.
