Hello everyone! Today was a busy day in Eyafjörður. We started sailing into a cloudy fjord. With many birds joining the trip, we ended up spotting harbour porpoises in our way north and humpback whales east to Hrisey island. The humpies were very friendly today giving us the chance to see them close as they decided to come closer to the boat and say hello. During the morning express tour, we came across with a sleepy humpback and was amazing to watch her with the engines off. Finally in the afternoon tours the sun decided to came out among the clouds and despite we needed to go a bit farther out, we could 1 minke whale and up to 4 humpback whales, one of them breaching and performing some “pec slaps”,. So much fun today!
