Hi there everyone! Quite windy but sunny in the end, we braved the weather and sailed to look for the amazing wildlife of Eyjafjörður. In the morning tour we could spot the 2 Northern bottlenose whales we are seeing these days in the harbour area, once they went for a dive we left them and started sailing north with the aim of finding different species. It was by the town of Hauganes when we saw our first humpback whale of the day, it was a well-known whale that we call Iskona that in icelandic means ice-woman. The whale was behaving very friendly, coming back to the surface very close to us. In the afternoon tour, the fjord got a bit warmer and close to this whale Iskona, that we found in the same area of this morning, we found another humpback whale, in total 2 different humpbacks in the afternoon. See you tomorrow at sea!
