Good afternoon!

Today was an absolutely amazing day to sail out to look for the cetaceans of Eyjafjörður. The weather was great, a bit chilly, but the winds were not too strong and the sea state perfect. On the way out on the Classic tour, most of the passengers borrowed one of our very nice and warm overalls. Therefore, they could enjoy being out on the deck to look at the wonderful sightseeing of the fjord while we sailed out without being bothered by the icy wind. Close to Hjalteyri we spotted a blow and another one and another one. There were three Humpback whales south of Hjalteyri. We managed to get good looks and pictures of all three of the individuals. We hope the whales will keep popping up this close to Akureyri.
