Good afternoon! Today we were once again greeted by the pod of Northern Bottlenose Whales in Pollurinn right after starting the tour. After watching these whales, we headed further north until we spotted a total of three Humpback Whales just south of Hauganes, two of them were even swimming together in the beginning. They resurfaced close to us repeatedly and we were able to see them very well!
On our way back to the harbor, we encountered the Northern Bottlenose Whales again briefly just north of Akureyri.
The weather was calm, it was a little windy today but in the morning the sun was shining into our faces. So we had a great day on the water!
