We had a stunning day in Eyjafjörður with perfect sailing conditions, a calm fjord and sunshine!
We sailed out to Hjalteyri today on all of our tours and spotted plenty of Humpback Whales there! We had at least 10 different Humpbacks all around our boat, near and far!
The blows were very visible as well since we had such good conditions.
Especially breathtaking were our close encounters today. We had some of these Humpback Whales surface right next to us! One of them was only a few meters away. Absolutely incredible.
As we were sailing, we also spotted several pods of Harbor Porpoises as well as two different Minke Whales between Svalbarðseyri and the green buoy.
It was a beautiful day!
