Today’s weather was relatively tame. We had some minor northern wind and low a lot of low cloud making the conditions slightly more wavy then the previous week.

We free-styled our tour a bit today going half German and half English but we certainly had a good. We saw our first whale near the green buoy, but, we didn’t stay with this whale as we could see more in the distance. It certainly paid off as once we reached just South of Hjaltery we found ourselves 2 Humpback Whales. We had some great encounters with these guys and probably the moment of the afternoon as our boy ‘Pretty Average’ came and approached our boat and saw right along side, a great encounter. We did travel a little further north to where we saw a further 4 Humpbacks at identifiable range. There were however a further 2 or 3 that we could see in the distance.

Big shout out to the newly weds, Dhiran and Ann, who joined us today on their honey moon. All the best for the future and now cemented in time in this ‘global’ blog.
