What a gorgeous day in Eyjafjörður! We had great weather conditions today with very calm water and even some sunshine.
Just after we passed Hjalteyri on our tour today, we saw the first blows in the distance. As we approached, we spotted two Humpback Whales between Hjalteyri and Hauganes. They were swimming very calmly together. These two Humpback Whales resurfaced close to us a number of times and went for dives together. We were lucky and the whales kept swimming in the same area around us and we were able to have a good look at these two beautiful Humpback Whales!
