Good afternoon! Another day with beautiful weather conditions! It was a cold, but sunny and calm afternoon.
We saw the first Humpback Whale just outside of Hauganes today, this whale was quickly joined by two more Humpback Whales close by. We watched these three whales in the beginning, as they resurfaced in the same area. A little bit further south, we spotted more blows and encountered two more Humpbacks! We had several close encounters with most of these whales and were able to watch them resurface a number of times.
In the end of our tour, we had all five of them coming up for a breath at the same time, two of them right in front of us and the three others together in the distance!
The tour today was just amazing and in total we spotted five different Humpback Whales in Eyjafjörður!
