Today, we sailed out in great weather conditions, the fjord was calm and we had good visibility.
We spotted a pod of Harbor Porpoises just outside of Akureyri, but unfortunately, we were not able to spot any bigger cetaceans on our tour today. We went all the way to the lighthouse at the entrance of Eyjafjörður and tried everything we could, but of course we always have to remember that we are here in nature and are looking for wild animals!
Our passengers received our complimentary tickets, so we are hoping to welcome them back on board with us here in Akureyri or in Reykjavík within the next two years!
