We had amazing sailing conditions today with very calm waters and great visibility.
During our morning tours, we encountered a new Humpback Whale here in our fjord! We spotted the whale south of Hjalteyri and were able to watch it very well. This Humpback Whale kept resurfacing and never let us wait for more than a few minutes, at times it came up after less than a minute in between breaths, before going for a deep dive again. We had some beautifully close encounters, saw some feeding behaviour and are extremely excited to hopefully see this new Humpback Whale more often in Eyjafjörður!
