Hello everybody! Today we started sailing with some low clouds over the fjord, but it cleared up quickly, the sun came out and we had fantastic sailing conditions as well as very calm water here in Eyjafjörður!
It was a beautiful morning out on the water and we sailed all the way to the northern part of Hrísey. On the way, we spotted some Harbour Porpoises as well as plenty of birds, such as Northern Fulmars, Long-Tailed Ducks, Razorbills and many other species. Unfortunately, we were not able to see any other cetaceans, but we simply always have to remember that we are looking for wildlife in nature!
We naturally offered everyone a complimentary ticket so they can join another tour with us within the next two years either in Akureyri or in Reykjavík!
We enjoyed the landscape of Eyjafjörður anyway on this beautiful day and are looking forward to sailing out again tomorrow!
