Good evening! We started out with low clouds again today, but the clouds lifted throughout our first tour and we had great conditions for sailing and whale watching all day long!
On our morning tours, we spotted a few Harbour Porpoises just as we were leaving Pollurinn as well as a Minke Whale by Svalbarðseyri!
Our RIB tour as well as the afternoon Classic Tour also encountered a Humpback Whale north of Hjalteyri. In the afternoon, we were able to watch the Humpback Whale feeding! Such a special sight to witness, we loved this experience and we got to see the Humpback Whale surfacing over and over again, even close to our boat. We had incredible and close encounters with the whales today. The Minke Whale came up right next to our boat several times as well!
