Hello everybody! We had a beautiful day in our fjord. It was a bit cold, but we had good sailing conditions.
On our tours, we encountered several whales! This morning, we spotted Harbour Porpoises just as we were leaving Pollurinn. Around Svalbarðseyri, we then encountered two Humpback Whales! At first, they were in the same area, but soon enough they were both feeding very close to us! It was magnificent to watch these two Humpback Whales so close together, coming up to breathe extremely frequently.
Additionally, we also spotted a Minke Whale on that tour!
In the afternoon, we encountered both Humpbacks again and we even saw a tail slap and a pec slap!
We had really great tours today and are excited for tomorrow!
