Good evening everyone,
We started the day under a cloudy sky and windy Eyjafjörður on our way out of the harbour.
However, we encountered a pod of super cute Harbour Porpoises by the geothermal waterfall. and it was very nice because, they were surrounded by a flock of feeding birds.

Regarding the sightings of the whales today vas a bit crazy, since in the morning we found 2 Humpback Whales when we were sailing by Rauðavík. And we had a couple of very close encounters with them. During the afternoon trip, a blue sky and a shinning sun have welcomed us back to the fjord with more to see! we had our fist Humpback Whale just outside of Akureyri harbour and super close! An then we decided to keep sailing out, and just next to Hjalteyri we found 2 more Humpback Whales! But that was not all because during the evning tour we found 4 more Humpback Whales all of then North Hrísey. And 2 of them were the ones we found in the morning so they were swimming quite alot today, but in the end that´s was just what we wanted , to see those majestic creatures in details.
