Hello everyone! Sunny day in Eyjafjörður today. With a bit of wind, specially in the harbour area we sailed out and we were able to see 3 different species on cetaceans! Although we had to go until the lighthouse, north of Hrisey island to spot the humpback whales, we could see 2 individuals that in the morning were swimming very close to each other and diving almost at the same time. In the afternoon tour we found the humpback whales still in the same area but keeping distance from each other this time, but specially one of them was very curious and swam bellow our rib boat, what an amazing experience! On the way back we spotted some harbour porpoises feeding together with many birds and by the hot waterfall, as a bonus, we found a minke whale.
