Good evening everyone! Today we had an amazing day in the fjord, calm sea, specially in the morning and afternoon tours, no wind and sun most of the time! We spotted up to 3 different species of cetaceans, first the harbour porpoises popped up when we were sailing out on search of larger cetaceans, then north Grenivík we saw humpback whales, even though there were at least 3 different individuals as we could see their blows around, we stayed with one of them as it was always behaving quite good and friendly giving us very nice sightings so everyone enjoyed. In the morning and in the evening tours we were a bit luckier as when we were heading back to Akureyri a Minke whale decided to say hello very close to us, so most of the passengers that were enjoying the weather and the amazing landscape of Eyafjoður, were able to spot it making their trip memorable. We are looking forward for coming back to the fjord tomorrow and see what species we will see, as it is always a surprise! See you out there tomorrow!
