Góðan daginn whale lovers!
To day we sailed out of our lovely Akureyri on a cloudy yes super calm mirrorlike sea. Even though we had to travel a bit far for the bigger animals. Just next to Svalbarðseyr we had our first sighting with a sneaky Minke Whale. Followed by a couple of pods of Harbour porpoises on our way to up North, while we were searching for something bigger, and just South of Hísey we found another sneaky Minke and a very relaxed Humpback whale who was constantly fluking.
In the evening tour we didn’t find the Minkes, but we found a second Humpback SE Hrísey.
Departures of the day: Classic tour 0900, 1300 & 1400 o’clock. Express tour 1000 & 1400 o’clock.
