July has started full of whales!

Since today we have had quite the show. We started sailing from a very cloudy Akureyri but with a very flat sea. and we didn´t have to go very far because just passed Svalbarðseyri we found 3 Humpback whales and one of them was sleeping so you could really appreciate all the silouette of the whale.

In the afternoon we had to sail a bit further, but just north of Hjalteyri but we still fount 2 beautiful Humpback whales just logging and fluking all the time. Later on the evening tours, the Humpbacks seemingly multiplied as we encountered 4 in a similar place as before. It was a really beautiful experience with the sun setting and an awesome rainbow. The camera on the express evening tour annoyingly decided to die, but the memories of the amazing evening live on.
