Starting the day with some bigger wind waves than usual and moderate northern wind. Making the trip on the morning ribs a very adventurous fun activity with big smiles. At the same time 2 of our classic tours went out, heading north pass Hjalteri where they spotted their first Humpback Whale. Usually we are looking for small splashes, blows or flukes to find the animals, but today was different. This Humpback was breaching more than once right in front of our boats. An absolutely staggering show, that blew everyone’s mind. Then we figured out it was two Humpback Whales and they swam right next to each other pass us. They looked very relaxed and calm, and one even sort of waved at us with his fuke. There have been some more boats from other whale watching companies just a little further north, so the whales are coming closer.
