Whale hello there!

Today we departed from a cloudy Akureyri, but with a completely flat sea. So we had ideal conditions for spotting some whales. And what a morning it was, we went out with our whole fleet and every boat had unique encounters. With Holmasol we were super lucky fining in between Hjalteyri and Hauganes, our resident Minke whale Astra. Who gave us a very nice and long encounter super close to the boat. But that was only one of the boat. Ambassador found 3 very lovely Humpback whales as well as a Minke whale just South of Hrísei and Konsull and the the Rib sailed all the way up to North Hrísey were they found 3 Humpback whales in the morning and 5 in the afternoon!!

So we can say it was a whale of a day in our lovely Eyjafjörður.
