Humpback Whales may have been our main species sighted today (alongside Porpoise and what must be the last of the Atlantic puffins) the but that does not mean the fjord felt empty. At least 5 different individuals have spent the day hanging around the south and middle of Hrisey feeding and fluking. The “5 and Dive” sequence was in full effect and every one on the morning and afternoon tours got views of fluke, flukes and flukes. As always a whaley good day. :).
