Hello readers,

Following up yesterdays sunny day with even more sunshine today here in Eyafjordur. In the morning it was pretty calm but the wind picked up throughout the day as it usually does when it is this sunny. But still very much enjoyable out on the sea. After travelling past some interesting sights in the area, we spotted 2 Humpback Whales just south east of Hrisey. one of them came pretty close o our boat, which gave everyone a great opportunity to get a nice shot on the camera. In our afternoon tour we had to sail out a little bit further north, but with great success. There have been 3 Humpback Whales very close to our boat, and they were busy feeding. Our fish finder on board showed that there was lots of small herring close to the water surface. 1 little Harbour Porpoise popped up as well and we saw even more blows a little further away, maybe about a kilometer.
