Much like our lovely guests the whales want a holiday in the north some days. This has been the case today. The 8 am rib feared a non sighting tour but luckily discovered a group of 5 Humpbacks between the island of Hrisey and Hrolfssker. Although far out this group was beautifully feeding and fluking, hanging out all day, and contained several individuals who we have become accustomed to over the last few days. To accommodate for their northward position tours after 1700 pm were run out of Arskossandur. Although we hope they enjoyed their well earned holiday we hope to see the big boys of the Fjord return south soon.
