My dearest readers, welcome to the blog.

Can´t complain with the morning, glassy flat seas, what more could you want. We saw 3 Humpback Whales in the morning around the Rauðavik area. 3 awesome whales, including 1 special whale, Disy who has been a common visitor this year and my personal favorite whale. The afternoon saw the wind role in and the waves pick up and the RIB we had some serious jumps. The humpbacks we encountered were in a similar place, however, now there were only 2. One encounter in particular was very unexpected with one individual tail throwing and then rolling with a pec wave, it took me very much by surprise. The way back home from the RIB tour also had some drama with a huge wave which turned into a tsunami soaked everyone onboard through and through. The water just kept coming, it was very funny and all our passengers loved it.

Pay attention to the top right corner of the right lobe of the fluke in the first picture. Disy
