Today we departed from a very grey Akureyri, with strong wind and choppy sea. But that didn´t stopped us from finding our beloved Humpies.
On our morning tours we had to sail a bit far but it is always worth it when we can admire those amazing flukes. Our first Humpback whale of the day was swimming around SE Hrísey. But during our lunch time someone decided to swim closer, since our second Humpback whale, was a bit close by only S of Hrísey, during our very rainy evening tour.
So despite the weather we ended up having very lovely encounters with 2 Humpback whales.
And of course the fjörð was as full as ever with adorable Guillemot chicks everywhere.
