Welcome,

Today was an amazing day in our lovely Eyjafjörður, amazing sightings but not so good weather.

The fjörð was quite wavy but that didn’t stopped us from seeing 11 Humpback whales!!

In the morning just outside of Grenevíc we saw a total of 3 Humpback whales, but in the evening in that same spot there were 4 Humpies. And we ended up traveling a little bit further to South Hrísey where we saw the other 8 Humpies. It was a WHALETASTIC day indeed. And the cherry on top was the sighting of this sexy Sula (Northern Gannet - extremely rear this late on the season) that was just fling on top of the whales; but that was not it, because we were also blessed with the presence of many extra cut Harbor porpoises just swimming 2m from the boats!

Idyllic day it was.
