Godan daginn,

another day with crazy south west wind is was making this day challenging and unfortunately our ribs couldn’t make it out in these conditions. But no problem for our bigger boats on the classic tours. We headed out twice and had fantastic encounters on both tours. Even tho the waves were giving some people a decent shower, that didn’t stop us from finding 3 Humpack Whales and super luckily spotted the 2 Orcas we found the previous day, and therefore spent some quality time with them. We got close to both species, leaving many on board speechless.

Quite interesting enough is that we haven’t seen any harbour porpoises since the Orcas arrived in the fjord. Let’s see what happens as soon as they’ve left again.

Absolutely fantastic again to even encounter some rare species of our fjord and get a reminder by Icelands nature who’s in charge up here.
