Eyjafjörður had good weather conditions today, with only a little bit of wind.
We spotted our two Humpback Whales Jóli and Honza in Pollurinn again, right after leaving the harbor!
Excitingly, they were super actively feeding and we got to watch them lunge feed right in front of our boat! It was simply incredible to see. They both resurfaced very frequently, only diving a few minutes at a time.
Additionally, we saw a pod of Harbor Porpoises as well as many birds in the harbor of Akureyri.
We are speechless after our tour today and are excited to see how long the two Humpbacks might stay in our harbor!
