It was another sunny, calm and cold day in Eyjafjörður. The sailing conditions were very good overall!
Southeast of Hrísey, we saw the first blows! Excitingly, we counted three Humpback Whales in the area, two of which were swimming and surfacing together over and over again!
It was a beautiful day out there, seeing the sunny fjord and the whales, which surfaced frequently!
We had several incredible encounters with them surfacing close to us. The Humpbacks we are seeing in the wintertime are just stunning!
We are already looking forward to the tour tomorrow!
