We sailed out with southern wind today and some swell during our tour.
Southeast of Hrísey, we encountered three Humpback Whales after seeing the first blows! We had wonderful encounters and watched the Humpbacks resurface a number of times, each time being at the surface for several minutes! They repeatedly went for deep dives one after the other, showing us their beautiful flukes.
Several times, we even had very close encounters with these three Humpback Whales during this tour! Absolutely incredible to see them up close right by our boat.
