The morning started off with a light rain but this cleared up shortly into the tour leaving us with very pleasant sea conditions. The visibility in the mountains was fairly low but the sea surface was almost completely flat.

We sailed to the same area of the previous days, between Hjalteyri and the Green Buoy. Here, we found our first Humpback Whale surfacing and diving at around 6-minute intervals. We later traveled a little further West to a spot where we could see a second Humpback, however, upon sailing there we were greeted again by our first whale and a 3rd individual that had been travelling down from the South. All 3 whales were surfacing independently of each other but by the end, they started to sync up and surface in a synchronised manner just around our stationary boat.
