What a gorgeous and calm day, with no wind and a flat sea!
Today, we encountered one Humpback Whale, just after leaving the harbor! This was Honza, one of the Humpbacks, which we have encountered very frequently so far this year. The whale was heading south into Pollurinn and we had great up-close encounters with it!
On this tour, we even observed Honza getting playful, as if the Humpback was breaking some of the ice, that formed on the water! While doing this, the whale resurfaced a number of times, lifting its head above the surface!
We had a fantastic time watching this spectacle and are excited for our next tour!
