Today, we sailed out in calm weather conditions with very little wind and mostly flat seas. During our tour, it also started to snow.
We sailed out all the way to Hrólfssker, the lighthouse at the mouth of our fjord. We spotted plenty of birds while sailing in the fjord. But unfortunately, we did not encounter any cetaceans during our tour today.
We see cetaceans on almost all of our tours, but have to always keep in mind that we are in nature, looking for wild animals.
We of course offered all of our passengers complimentary tickets to join us again for free on another tour within the next two years, either in Akureyri or even in Reykjavík.
We hope to welcome our passengers from today on board with us again soon and are looking forward to our upcoming tours here in Eyjafjörður!
