We had an amazing day in the fjörð today! Even though, due to very strong SW wind it was a cold and wavy day.

During the morning tours we had very nice encounters with 2 Humpback whales who were feeding just South of Hjalteyri. Both of them very active lunge feeding and showing us their rostrum. One of the Humpbacks was Magnea and the 2nd one was a new individual!

But the afternoon tour got also very interesting indeed since we found again the Humpback whales South of Hjalteyri but this time we had 4 Humpback whales!

Although two of them were taking more than 15 minutes to come to the surface. One time we had the chance to see the 4 of them surface at the same time. But also one of the them pooped so we could see the whale poop one of the most nutritious things we can find in the ocean.
