On this cloudy but glassy day of July, Eijafjördur surprised us once more!

This time, our friend Piccolo the Humpback whale, found a friend for the day. They were first sighted travelling together by Hjalteyri, when suddenly they started surface feeding together, leaving us AWED!

But they were not the only ones, since also our Minkes decided to start lunging themselves out of the water while feeding.

And we were able to witness this jaw dropping pair and the feeding Minke in the very shallow area of Dagvarðareyri on almost all of our tours of the day.

Indeed a good day to be in the fjord with 2 Humpback whales and 1 Minke whale feeding non stop!
