Sun’s out again, and so are our tan lines!
It was a beautiful morning, the whole fjord was made out of glass. Couldn’t wish for more condition-wise.
We encountered one Minke Whale close to the green buoy and then later had another really nice and close encounter with another Minke Whale east of Hrisey, and that one we know. He’s got a cut in his dorsal fin.
Furthermore, we encountered some nice Humpback Whales in the morning east ofHauganes and also east of Hrisey. On our way back we did a little loop closer to Hrisey because we saw a few splashes. Turns out there were 100-200 White beaked Dolphins.
What a great morning, You could guess it wouldn’t get any better than that right? WRONG.
In the afternoon we encountered Minke whales again, more Harbour Porpoises, a few more White beaked Dolphins, countless Humpback Whales probably around 15 and out of nowhere, 5-6 Northern Bottlenose Whales.
