What a beautiful day in our fjord!
We had great sailing conditions today with calm water as well as sunshine!
We spotted one Humpback and Minke Whales south of Hjalteyri. Two more Humpback Whales were on the western side of Hrísey and apart from this all, we also had an unbelievable encounter with White Beaked Dolphins north of Hrísey! Such a pleasant surprise! They were very curious and playful and we spotted them all around our boat, we could even see them underwater by our boat.
One of the absolute highlights of the morning tour was one particular dolphin jumping high into the air several times! It was so exciting, everyone on board was thrilled!
We simply can’t wait for more days like today!
